Minor gang raped and set ablaze, dies

A minor girl died after she was allegedly gang raped and set ablaze by some persons in Sirsa area of Urai town here, police said today.

The 15-year-old was dragged to the fields by Ram Bahadur and his two aides yesterday, who raped the girl there before setting her on fire, they said.

She died while being taken to the hospital.

An FIR has been lodged in the matter and efforts are being made to arrest the accused, police said.
