Minor gang-raped, murdered

A teenage girl was allegedly

gang-raped and murdered by some unidentified men in Pitambarpura village in the district, police said today.

Soni (17), a student of class IX, was sleeping on the terrace with her family members last night when she was abducted by the miscreants, who took her to a field outside the village and gang-raped her, they said.

Later, the accused hanged her to death using her clothes and disposed off the body in a village well where it was spotted by the villagers this morning.

A case has been registered in this regard while the further probes are on, police added.
