Minor girl abducted, kidnapped

A minor girl was allegedly abducted from Govindpuri area of South-East Delhi and raped by an unidentified man.

"The accused abducted the 11-year-old girl when she was playing outside her home and took her to a nearby forest and raped the minor on Monday night.

"After two hours, the girl returned home bleeding and crying," said a police official.

The parents who were searching their daughter in the neighbourhood were shocked to see her condition.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is undergoing treatment, he said.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to identify and arrest the perpetrator, police said.
