A four-year-old girl was allegedly "abused" by her neighbour in Bhiwandi in the district, police said today.
The girl was playing outside her residence on November 16 when the 38-year-old accused, Aisan Ansari, abused her, the Thane city police said.
Parents of the girl filed a complaint last night.
A case under relevant sections of IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to nab the accused, police said.
