Minor girl drowns at Ganga ghat, another rescued

A minor girl today drowned while another was rescued by a youth while taking bath in the Ganga in Gopiganj area today, police said.

Manisha Harijan (12) drowned while taking bath at Bahrojpur Ganga ghat when after slipped, they said.

They said the victim's friend Kanchan (9) was saved by a youth Sandeep Mishra.

The body has been fished out and sent for post-mortem.
