Minor girl killed in leopard attack in Jammu

A five-year-old girl was killed by a leopard in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

The leopard barged into the house of Qamar Din in Shibraj village and attacked his daughter, Rahmati, police said.

When the leopard tried to drag away the minor, people rushed to the forest area to rescue her, they said, adding that the girl had died by then.

The big cat fled on seeing people approaching, they said.
