Minor girl raped by 14-yr-old

A minor girl was allegedly raped by a 14-year-old boy at Ghagara village the district, police said today.

The incident took place last night when the six-year-old girl was alone at her home, polie said, adding, the matter came to light when the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents folowing which a complaint was lodged with the police.

Police have registered a case and started investigations. Both the victim girl and the juvenile accused boy were medically examined, Inspector of Nikirai police station, Kiran Kumar Hembram said.

The boy was arrested and produced in the Juvenile Justice Board which later released him on bail, police said.
