A 10-year-old girl was allegedly
raped by her step-father in Pitambar Nagar of Mansarovar area here, police said today.
Gopal Rao (35), a labourer, was arrested today, police said, adding he has been booked under sections of IPC and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

Last night, finding the victim alone in the room, the accused in a drunken state allegedly raped her and fled from the house.
The accused's second wife, having three minor kids including the victim, lodged the FIR, police added.
