A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Jahanabad area of the district, police said today.
The girl was dragged in an agriculture field and raped by 35-year-old Faiyaz Ahmed in Pinjara Vamapuri village yesterday, said Indu Siddharth, Circle Officer of Jahanabad area.
The victim has been sent for medical examination and efforts were on to arrest the accused.
