Unidentified bike borne youths today looted over Rs 9 lakh from two persons at Usyani road in Tundla area here, police said.
The incident took place when the two persons - Bhuvnesh and Ajay were returning with Rs 9.37 lakhs of a petrol pump and were stopped by armed bike borne youths, who looted the money, they said.
The youths also hit Bhuvnesh with the pistol injuring him on his head.
No arrests have so far been made in this connection, police said adding investigations were on.
