Some unidentified persons uprooted the cash box (Golak) of Gurdwara Singh Sabha from Gharota area here, police said today.
The incident, which took place in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, was reported by the caretaker of the Gurdwara Surain Singh, they said.
The area was searched and empty cash box was recovered from near the fields, they said, adding a case of theft has been registered against unidentified persons.
