Missing financier's body found in field

The body of a financier, who had been missing for a day, was recovered Friday from a field in Tissa village here, police said.

According to SSP Sudhir Kumar, a case was registered under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) against Kaliram and his sonArun Kumar in connection with the killing of 38-year-old Vikas.

The duo is absconding, the SSP said.

The deceased's father, in his complaint, alleged that the accused had a confrontation with Vikas after which they strangled him and dumped the body in a nearby field.

The body was found in the fields, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the accused.
