Missing girl found dead in Hyderabad

A four-year-old girl who had gone missing from Sanathnagar area here three days ago was found dead, Cyberabad police said today.

Her throat was slit by some assailant and her body, which was found last night, was stuffed in a plastic bag from her neighbour's house, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri, Rama Rajeshwari said.

"We have taken some suspects into custody and questioning them," she said.

The girl was seen playing along with her friends in front of her house on Wednesday evening after which she had gone missing.

Her parents had filed a complaint with police following special teams were formed.
