The body of a 15-year-old boy, who had gone missing since Feb 17, was found in a sugarcane field at Wajidpur village in the district here, police said.
Aditya Kumar was strangulated to death after being sodomised by the accused, according to the post-mortem report.
One person has been arrested in the matter so far, they said.
The victim, a student of Class X, went missing on Feb 17 when he had gone to the local market. His body was found in a sugarcane field yesterday, police said.
