Mist cooling system facility at Sambalpur railway station

With gruelling heat sweeping western Odisha, a high pressure misting system has been installed in the concourse area and platform No.1 shelter space of Sambalpur station.

The system emits mist air which reduces the surrounding area temperature by 4 to 5 degree celsius from atmospheric temperature, railway sources said today.

The system brings comfort to the passengers waiting on the platform.
