A moderate quake rattled Costa Rica today, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The temblor struck the central part of the Central American country, about 30 kms west of the capital, San Jose, just after noon local time.
It was felt strongly in the capital of San Jose, but the National Emergency Commission has not reported any injuries.
