Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the death President of Zambia Michael Sata who passed away in London where he had been receiving treatment for a long-rumoured but undisclosed illness.
"Our prayers are with the people of Zambia," Modi said in his condolence message.
77-year-old Sata assumed office in 2011.
