Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev upon his re-election and expressed confidence that under his leadership, bilateral cooperation between the two nations will be elevated to an even higher trajectory in the years ahead.
Modi also said he was keenly looking forward to his forthcoming visit to Kazakhstan to discuss how they can work together to deepen and diversify the bilateral relationship.
"Your re-election is a testament to the abiding faith among the people of Kazakhstan in your visionary leadership. I wish you all the success in your continued efforts to build a vibrant and prosperous nation.

"I am confident that under your able stewardship, Kazakhstan will enter a new phase of progress and development," Modi said in his congratulatory letter.
He also said that India remains deeply committed to further strengthening the strategic partnership with Kazakhstan, which has benefited the two nations and also contributed towards peace and stability in the wider region.
"I keenly look forward to my forthcoming visit to your great country to discuss how we can work together to deepen and diversify our bilateral relationship.
"With your guidance and support, I am confident that we can elevate our cooperation in the various sectors to an even higher trajectory in the years ahead," he said.
