Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended greetings to the people of the Republic of Korea on its Liberation Day, saying India considers Korea a crucial partner in its economic modernisation.
"I convey my best wishes to the People of the Republic of Korea on the occasion of their Liberation Day. The need for close ties between India and Korea has never been stronger. We consider Korea a crucial partner in India's economic modernisation and seek to further improve trade relations with Korea," Modi said in his message.
A pillar of democracy in Asia, South Korea's rapid progress strengthen the vision of an 'Asian Century,' he said adding, "my recent visit to the Republic of Korea was extremely fruitful, enhancing cooperation with Korea in many spheres.
