Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who returned to India after a six-day long foreign tour, today met Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and BJP president Amit Shah and deliberated on current issues involving the party and the government.

The top government and party brass is believed to have discussed recent controversies, including the Vyapam scam and various aspects of the matter.

Party sources said that Modi meets the top party leaders after his return from visits abroad for an update on current issues.

Modi returned home early this morning after his six-nation tour of Russia and five Central Asian countries during which the highlight was his attendance of BRICS and SCO Summits and talks with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
