Modi to fly by helicopter from Airport to rally venue: BJP

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to address a rally here on Sunday, would land by a helicopter near the venue.

"The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, will land at the Airport on December 29. From there he will fly by a helicopter, and land at the JSCA stadium before going to the venue," BJP's Jharkhand unit president Ravindra Rai told a press conference here.

He said the air route to the venue was preferred to avoid traffic snarls between Airport and the venue, about 6 km by road.
