The monsoon session of the 30 member Legislative Assembly of Union Territory of Puducherry begins tomorrow.
Although the session is likely to be a brief one, the opposition comprising the Congress having seven members, the AIADMK with five members and the two member DMK have planned to bring to focus several issues of public importance.
Retrenchment of more than four thousand daily wage workers in various public sector undertakings and the 'failure' of the government to mobilise funds to beef up the financial base of the government would be among the issues the opposition would project during the session.
