More than 8.85 lakh voters in Puducherry on April 24

The Union Territory of Puducherry which has a lone parliamentary seat will go to the polls on April 24.

Total voters in the Union Territory comprising Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam regions was 8,85,925, Chief Electoral Officer T.Sreekanth told reporters here today.

All the voters had been issued Electors photo Identity cards (EPICs) and Puducherry had also established cent percentage coverage of voters in the Photo Electoral rolls.

The Union Territory would have 905 polling stations.
