Mother and daughter injured by robbers

The incident occurred when four dacoits tried to snatch cash and valuables from Mala Devi, who was at the station along with her one-year-old child, last night.

Before decamping, the bandits tried to slit the throats of the mother and the baby.

Both the victims, who were profusely bleeding, were admitted to a hospital.

An FIR has been lodged and investigation is underway.
