A woman and her four children, aged between 3 and 5, suffered serious burn injuries after a fire broke out at their house in Amritsar due to leakage in LPG cylinder.
The mother Jyoti (25) and her children, including two daughters, are battling for life with fifty per cent burn injuries, police said.
Their condition is stated to be critical, they said.
Meanwhile Jyoti's mother, who also suffered minor burns, alleged that the five were first taken to state-run Guru Nanak Dev Hospital but the administration there refused to admit them citing "lack of infrastructure."
The hospital, however, refused to comment on the charges.
