Mother, son injured in ceiling collapse

23-year-old Shahnaz and her son Faiz were on balcony of the fifth floor, which was being constructed "illegally", when its ceiling caved in, police said.

They fell on ground floor and got trapped beneath the rubble, a senior police officer said.

A case has been registered against contractor of the building, police said adding, he was absconding.
