Mother, son shot by father-son duo

A mother and her son were today shot dead by a father-son duo in revenge for another murder, in Ata village in Orai area here, police said.

Ajay (22) and her mother Shivdevi (50) were shot dead by Kailash (70) and his son Anup, they said.

The incident was stated to be a fallout of Kailash's son Ashwani's murder in 2009 in which Ajay was named as the main accused.

Kailash was caught by villagers and handed over to police while his son managed to escape.
