Mother, son shot dead

were shot dead allegedly by a relative in a village in the district, police said today.

Surinder Kaur along with her son Lovpreet Singh was allegedly shot dead by her son-in-law Bhupinder Singh, they said.

Bhupinder, who resides in same Miani village, invited Kaur and Lovpreet to his residence last evening.

After a verbal duel over some issue, Bhupinder allegedly shot dead the two, police said.

A hunt had been launched to nab Bhupinder who was absconding, they said.
