A motorcyclist and the pillion rider were crushed to death under the wheels of a truck on Kathijoria bridge in Jharkhand's Dumka district today, police sources said.
One of the victims was identified as Kader Kisku, a resident of Amrapara village under Shikaripara police station in the district, the sources said.
The driver fled with the truck.
Enraged villagers put up a road blockade demanding compensation to the families of the victims.
