Congress today alleged that the BJP in Madhya Pradesh was using the state machinery to ensure the victory of its candidate in the Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha bypoll tomorrow.
In a memorandum submitted to the Election Commission here, Congress leaders including former state chief minister Digvijay Singh claimed that state ministers and other party functionaries have not yet vacated the constituency despite an EC direction in this regard.
The memorandum also alleged that police was using strong arm tactics to ensure that grassroots level leaders do not support Congress in the bypoll.
