BJP national vice president Shyam Jaju today said Madhya Pradesh government was conducting a probe in the Vyapam scam with sincerity, which was why at least 38 persons had been arrested in the case so far.
Jaju, who visited the Saibaba temple here, also told reporters that investigation of the scam, which relates to rackets in admission and recruitment through Maddhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, was going on, and stern action would be taken against the accused.
About the allegation of scam against the BJP leader and Maharashtra woman and child welfare minister Pankaja Munde in procurement for her department, Jaju said mere allegations do not make the person guilty until they are proven.
