Muggy Sunday for Delhiites

It was a hot Sunday for Delhiites with no rainfall as the temperature in the national capital was two degree above the normal at 35.6 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature was recorded two notches above the normal at 35.6 degree Celsius and the minimum was 26.7 degree Celsius, one notch above the normal, Met office said here.

No rainfall was recorded today in Delhi while the humidity level oscillated between 48 to 79 per cent.

The Met officials has forecast light rain in some parts of the city tomorrow.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy with very light rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
 

According to the official, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain 35 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

The weatherman had predicted a wet weekend for the Delhiites and a dry spell for next week.
