Munda suspends ex-examination controller

Suspending the then examination controller of the state, Natya Hansda, Munda ordered a departmental enquiry into the charges against him, an official release said here today.

Hansda is accused of not giving expenditure details to the tune of Rs one crore, allegedly failing selected students of the state Polytechnic Institute, Dhanbad and 'bending' rules to benefit some teachers, the release added.
