Prof V Murugesan was today appointed as Vice Chancellor of Annamalai University by the Tamil Nadu Governor and Chancellor Banwarilal Purohit.
Purohit presented the letter of appointment to Murugesan at a function at the Raj Bhavan today.
Murugesan, who served Anna University, Chennai for 16 years as a professor, has administrative experience for 22 years, a Raj Bhavan release said.
His tenure as Vice-Chancellor, Annamalai University would be for a three year period.
