Mustardseed futures up further

Mustardseed prices extended gains by Rs 71 to Rs 3,613 per quintal in futures trade today following renewed buying amid weak physical markets trend.
Marketmen said rising demand in spot markets against resstricted arrivals due to off-seasonal rains, mainly pushed up the prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustardseed for far July contract hardened by Rs 71, or 2 per cent, to Rs 3,613 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 4,150 lots.
The April contract also moved up by Rs 48, or 1.39 per cent, at Rs 3,508 per quintal in 58,460 lots.
