Press Trust of India New Delhi
Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.61 per cent to Rs 653.50 per 10 kg in futures market today as participants trimmed their positions, taking negative cues from spot market on easing demand against adequate stocks.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October month fell by Rs 4, or 0.61 per cent to Rs 653.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 56,960 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in September contracts traded lower by Rs 3.65, or 0.56 per cent to Rs 647 per 10 kg in 20,310 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by traders on the back of weak demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from growing regions mainly led to decline in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
