The apex tribal body in Nagaland has expressed concerned over the recent spate of inter-factional clashes in the state and urged the law enforcing agencies to flush out armed cadres of different outfits to ensure security to the masses.

"Such clashes broke out because different groups were trying to dominate bigger territories for collecting more taxes," 'Naga Hoho' said in a press release last night.

Expressing shock over the attempt on the life of a student leader on June 25, the tribal body urged the law enforcing agencies to book the culprit immediately and drive out armed cadres of different outfits for the security of the people.
