Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Liezietsu today lauded the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the conduct of a nationwide U-19 football talent hunt to locate budding footballers of the country.
The CM was addressing the valedictory function of Nagaland State League 'Oorja - Central Armed Police Force' (Oorja-CAPF) U-19 football Talent Hunt Tournament organised by 9 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Head Quarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) in Kohima.
Expressing that Naga people love football, the chief minister said the state government had been trying its best to promote football in the state and such tournament was a major boost towards the efforts of the government.
