Narcotics seizures at its highest in Mumbai

"There were 543 cases registered, 2,672 arrests made and 731 kg of contraband worth Rs 14.51 crore were seized," DCP (Anti Narcotics Cell) V B Deshmukh said.

Deshmukh said the narcotics seized include 122 kg of amphetamine worth Rs 11.45 crore.

Around 100 narcotics users were arrested on New Year's eve for consuming drugs and partying on Sunday night.
