Nashik: Tawde performs bhumi-pujan for Sadhu Gram

Senior BJP leader and leader of the opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Council Vinod Tawde today performed 'bhumi-pujan' for 'Sadhu Gram' here in Panchavati area here.

The Sadhu Gram is being built to accommodate the devotees who would land in the city for Kumbh Mela next year.

Tawde said he had spoken to union finance minister Arun Jaitley and the Centre would provide enough funds to the city ahead of the Kumbh Mela.

If voted to power, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance would make provision of annual grant for Kumbh Mela and set up permanent infrastructure facilities, he said.
