Nassar sorry for 'emotional destruction' of abuse victims

Disgraced former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar apologised in court today to the scores of young women he is accused of sexually assaulting, ahead of his expected sentencing.

"What I am feeling pales in comparison to the pain, trauma, and emotional destruction that all of you are feeling," Nassar told the courtroom in Michigan.

"There are no words to describe the depth and breadth of how sorry I am for what has occurred.
