National Award for Ananthapuri FM

: 'Ente Bhoomi' (My Earth), a 20 minute radio documentary, has won the Akashvani Annual Award 2016 under the category of radio documentary.

It has been written and produced by Biju Mathew, Programme Executive, Ananthapuri FM, Trivandrum, a Press Information Bureau press release said.

Using the innumerable scope of sound mixing 'Ente Bhoomi' tries to convey the message of environmental awareness.

It fosters a sense of connection to the natural world, promotes sustainable development and encourages conservation of irreplaceable natural resources and vulnerable plant and animal species.
