The second National Lok Adalat disposed of over 34,000 cases and a settlement amount of Rs 20,000 was recieved from these cases as fine here.
The Lok Adalat, which was held yesterday across the country, disposed of 34,365 cases here, District Sessions Judge Vijay Laxmi said today.
Over 2,050 family dispute cases were settled by the family court and 14 couples, who were separated, have been reunited after they decided to withdraw the cases, Laxmi said
About 53,000 cases were listed for hearing in the National Lok Adalat held here.
