Indian-origin actress Nazneen Contractor has signed up for a new role in NBC's "Heroes Reborn" series.
The 32-year-old actress will play Farah, a mysterious character who is "militant, tough and stoic", according to Deadline.
Contractor joins Zachary Levi, Judith Shekoni, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay and the recently-announced Dylan Bruce as those who are making their debut in the "Heroes" universe.
Original cast members Jack Coleman, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka are also set to return in the new season.
"Heroes Reborn" is the latest project from "Heroes" creator Tim Kring.
