NBCC to adopt Purana Qila in Capital for maintenance

Construction major NBCC India Ltd today said the Tourism Ministry has accepted its proposal for upgradation and maintenance of Purana Qila in the national capital.

In a regulatory filing, NBCC said that it had submitted an Expression of Interest (EoI) for Purana Quila under 'Adopt a Heritage Project' scheme under Tourism Ministry.

"The proposal of NBCC (India) Ltd has been accepted by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India for up-gradation and maintenance of Purana Quila, New Delhi.

NBCC, which is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is present in three main segments -- Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development and EPC Contracting.
