Infrastructure firm NCC Ltd today posted 7 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 51 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 55 crore in the year-ago period, NCC Ltd said in a filing to BSE.
Total income declined to Rs 1,972.9 crore over Rs 2,148.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
In the first six months of the current year, the company secured orders aggregating to Rs 5,356 crore. With this, the order book of the company stood at Rs 18,595 crore as of September 30, 2016, the company said in a statement.
Shares of the company closed down by 8.43 per cent at Rs 78.75 per share on BSE.
