NCDEX chairman Thorat resigns

National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd today said its chairman and FMC Nominee Independent Director Y S P Thorat has resigned.

"YSP Thorat, FMC Nominee Independent Director and Chairman of NCDEX has resigned from the Board of NCDEX," the exchange said in a statement here.

Thorat resigned for personal reasons, an exchange official said.
