NCDEX trading volume surges 82% in April

National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today said it has witnessed a surge in volumes in April, registering a 82.78 per cent growth in its average daily trade value (ADTV) at Rs 4,491.85 crore.

Trading in agri commodities like chana, guar, edible oils and oil seeds and spices like jeera and coriander, saw a substantial growth during the month, NCDEX said in a release issued here.

The open interest increased by 2.45 per cent at Rs 6,613.70 crore during last month, it added.

Huawei launches Honor Bee smartphone, power bank in India * Chinese telecom major Huawei today unveiled Honor Bee smartphone, priced at Rs 4,999, and will be available in India from May 11.
 

"India is becoming a market of prime importance for us. We are reducing gap between the time we launch a phone in our main market China and India.

"Honor Bee is being first launched in India and will starting selling in other markets by month-end," Huawei President of Consumer Business Group and Honor India Allen Wang said.
