Self styled 'deputy commander in chief' of the outlawed NDFB(S), Dhananjay Doimary was today arrested by police in Assam's Kokrajhar district.
Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) IGP L R Bishnoi said acting on specific information, the police launched an operation in Sessapani forest area under Kokrajhar police station and arrested Doimary alias Doiswrang.
The police seized 36 hand grenades, five explosives, 100 live rounds of AK-47 ammunitions and one mobile set with two SIM cards from the militant's possession.
Bishnoi said Doimary's interrogation was on.
