NDFB(S) terrorist killed in encounter

An NDFB(S) terrorist was today killed in an encounter by a joint team of police and para military forces in Udalguri district, a senior police official said.

The militant was later identified as Dabla and the encounter took place at Asraibari under Mazbat police station, Sonitpur SP Sanjukta Parasar said.

One pistol, four Chinese grenades and several rounds of live ammunition besides some documents and a Nepalese passport was recovered from the militant, he said.
